Poly(dimethylsiloxane-co-methylphenylsiloxane) is linear copolymeric siloxane terminated with trimethylsilyl groups, randomly composed of dimethylsiloxane and methylphenylsiloxane repeating units, also known as methylphenyl silicone fluid or phenyl-modified dimethicone. Refractive Index (20℃): 1.420–1.535, rises with phenyl proportion
Flash Point: ≥270℃, low volatility
Freezing Point: -70 ~ -40℃, excellent low-temperature fluidity
Storage Requirements
Store in tightly sealed containers in cool and dry warehouses at 2–30℃, general light shielding is sufficient.
Keep away from strong oxidants and concentrated strong acids; prolonged high temperature exposure will cause slow oxidation and discoloration.
Maintain airtight packaging against moisture and dust; standard shelf life is 12 months.
Separate from open flames and high-temperature heat sources, keep warehouse well ventilated.
Viscosity (25℃): 50 cSt

Modifying additive for coatings & inks: Improve compatibility with aromatic resins, enhance leveling, weather resistance and UV shielding.
Stationary phase & high-temperature bath oil for chromatography: Specialized thermal & damping medium for laboratory analytical instruments.
Radiation-resistant special hydraulic oil: Hydraulic buffer medium for nuclear facilities and radiation-exposed environments.
